About Us

Soap & Soul is born out of my inherent interest and love for soap. I admire the composition, nourishing oils, essential oils and scents and botanicals that support a good cleanse and maintains skin health. It started with the incredible amount of handmade soap that I would purchase as my cupboards at home would overflow from an enormous amount of soap products. This led me to take a keen interest in the process to learn how soap is made and to then make my own for my family.

After making a number of cold process batches for family and friends and receiving good feedback, I decided to take the leap and turn what I love into a business that will also benefit others by having a high quality, handmade soap bar that is as close to natural as possible and ethically designed to support all skin types.

It’s easy to use a bar of soap that is mass produced but the end result is that it will leave one’s skin feeling dry. This is because of the low quality and high production and manufacturing in place. I aim to supply you with  uniquely designed small batch products that is 100 per cent hand made artisan soap. I want you to feel satisfied from a beautiful soap experience.

Lastly the 'soul' part of my business stems from my interest in cultivating oneness with body, mind and spirit and being in balance. Therefore the handmade items I produce will be presented with other well researched and sourced items that will form part of this 'soul range' with the aim of inspiring you to take time out, nourish and nurture yourselves.
